Time to Buy?
ABSOLUTELY!!!!
Never in our recent history has there been more reason for you to invest in Real Estate here in Sumner County. As Wall Street sits and wonders, a perfect pplace to park some investment money is in housing and raw land. When you speak to stock brokers, they always say “Check the track record,” before you buy. Well what more of a track record do you need than one that shows nothing but substantial gain over its entire history?
First time home buyers have never had a better time to dig into real estate. WIth a $7500 tax break for them, those who qualify for a loan have never seen a better time as prices have come down after the inflatino of the “big boom” in the market (2000-2006). Prices on homes are leveling off and the choices leave buyers in the drivers seat when it comes to negotitions.
What about selling? If you are currently in a home and are making the payments, I would say it would be best for you to wait. BUT, if you are the owner of an investment property, especially raw land, NOW is a perfect time to throw it out on the market as big players in the market start withdrawing money and looking for a safer, more secure investment, like land.
And, for those who have a little extra cash on hand, now would be a gret time to seek out that diamond in the rough that you can hold on to for a few years, and when the market takes another up swing, you will have a great investment with which to enhance your financial portfolio.
