Ray Carman – Auctioneer

I am a Auctioneer / Realtor who comes from a long lasting Real Estate and Auction Heritage. In 1910, Jim Carman, my Great Grandfather, began selling real estate at auction. In the 1950’s, my grandfather, Gene Carman, opened a Real Estate/Auction Company to carry on what his father had begun. Little did they know that the tradition would carry on, even into the fifth generation. I am both a Real Estate Broker and an Auctioneer. I join my father, Harold Gene Carman Jr, and my brother, Gene Carman III for auctions nearly every weekend.

I have a wonderful wife, Katie Carman, and two precious daughters, Hailey (9) and Raygan (7), and two sons, Truett (2) and a newborn son, Knox. I mostly enjoy spending time playing with my kids, hanging out with my wife, and an occasional chasing of a golf ball around the course. I also am very committed to being like Jesus and adhering to his blue print for life and business that He gave us during his time here on earth. If asked what I most enjoy about selling Real Estate, I would say, “Meeting new people, and being a part of their lives while helping them in the matters of Real Estate. I think it should be more than business, it should be like family!” When asked what “job” I am best at within the business I would say, “Conducting an auction from start to finish! I love taking something nice and making it extraordinary! That is what an auction is all about!”
